“Green people” of NYC could enjoy special event during the past weekend (04.26-27.2014) that took place in Pier 94,Manhattan NYC. Green Festival, because this is what I am talking about, is one of the America’s largest green living events.
Green Festival is all about sustainability, green products, and fair trade. Festival’s goal is to empower consumers, companies to go green, live green and care about the environment.
During two days everybody could learn, try and take part in seminars and demonstrations of eco friendly companies. Attendees could learn how to live healthier, greener lives, how to make better, more conscious choices every day. 
Companies were giving free samples and all kind of goodies. It was great place to try new products and learn that there are better, healthier food choices. Many speakers were giving lectures from how to eat green to how to be a change maker through green business. “Fashionably green” fashion show was another fun part on the busy green stage.
Companies showcased all kind of products- vegan foods, green fashion accessories, clothing, and green energy ideas.
I think it is very important to organize events like this. We all should educate ourselves and this festival was an excellent place to do so. Learning about vegan, non-GMO, fair trade foods could have enormous impact on our heath. Thinking about recycling and being responsible citizen can help our planet.
