Smoked Tofu

This recipe is easy but it is the best if you prepare the tofu the day before. It is nice to leave it in the fridge over night to marinate before baking.

Smoked Tofu

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of firm tofu, drained and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon  hickory liquid smoke
  • 3 teaspoons  water
  • 1 teaspoon Agave
  • 1 teaspoon  molasses
  • 1 teaspoon liquid aminos (soy sauce arternative)
  • Seasonings: salt,paper, paprika, garlic, basil, turmeric etc.

A’La Spaghetti

I am not sure what actually I should name this dish. But since it is total transformation of Spaghetti, I called it … A’la Spaghetti. 😉 You can change this dish to your needs, and actually you can serve it in few ways. Also it will taste and look deferent depending  on what veggies you are having at the moment in your fridge.…

Pho

Vegan/ Gluten Free Pho

Pho is a Vietnamese noodle soup consisting of broth, rice noodles called bánh phở, a few herbs, and in vegan version- tofu. It is quick and easy to make at home.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of red cabbage, sliced
  • 10 oz of mushrooms-sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic (peeled and chopped)
  • half of small onion – chopped
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 2 cups of water
  • bean sprouts
  • gluten free soy sauce
  • tofu-cubed
  • cilantro to garnish
  • optional: broccoli and edamame
  • salt, paper, seasonings
  • gluten free noodles

Directions:

  1. Add cabbage, mushrooms, garlic, onion to water and vegetable broth.
